A few words from Master Jinyan – The Lunar New Year is near, and I’d like to wish all my readers a Happy New Year for 2025! As the Year of the Snake approaches, I wish all readers a fluid and prosperous year, blessed by auspicious stars! The beginning of spring in the Year of the Snake falls on February 3, 2025, at 10:27 PM. Those born on or after this date and time will belong to the Snake sign.
Individuals of the Pig sign will clash with Tai Sui, which appears negative but can actually depend on their own efforts. If preparations are done well and there is a proactive attitude, recognition and rewards will follow. This year is illuminated by the auspicious stars “Sui Jia” and “Tian Jie,” symbolising support from noble benefactors that can enhance status and power, leading to career advancement and recognition. Additionally, the “Tian Jie” star is known for resolving conflicts, bringing good fortune even amidst difficulties.
Engaging in joyful events such as birthdays, weddings, purchasing property, or cars can help mitigate the negative impacts of clashing with Tai Sui. It’s advisable to wear charms associated with the Monkey and place a Monkey decoration in the southeast corner of the home to harmonise with Tai Sui.
For those born in the Year of the Pig, this is a year where they will be “Clashing with the Tai Sui,” meaning that this will be a year of volatility and change. The effect can be lessened by asking for pardon from the “Tai Sui” “Wu Zhu” and making an offering of fruits, tea, vegetarian dishes, and incense. Those born in the Year of the Snake and the Year of the Tiger will be “Opposing the Tai Sui,” but the impact will not be as significant. However, for peace of mind, it would be advisable to use the aforementioned method to ask for pardon.
Each person having the same animal zodiac is inevitably an individual with differing birth dates and times, and therefore each person’s fortune will differ. Please note that this prediction is for leisurely reference only.
Snake:
In 2025, those born in the Year of the Snake will experience a “Oppositing with the Tai Sui.” While this might sound daunting, there are also auspicious stars that will help balance the impact. Your actions will play a crucial role in shaping your destiny. With the proper preparation, proactive efforts, and motivation, you’ll find support and recognition in your career. Challenges and obstacles that arise throughout the year will be manageable. To mitigate the effects of the Tai Sui, consider engaging in celebratory activities such as attending birthday parties, weddings, or purchasing property or a car. Wearing a monkey charm or placing a monkey ornament in the southeast part of your home can also help.
Fortune: Financial fortunes may fluctuate, with potential for losses. Exercise caution in investments and ensure all financial matters and contracts are clearly stated to avoid misunderstandings. Single Snakes might meet someone special, but it’s important not to rush things. Those in relationships may face ups and downs, and married individuals should remain committed to avoid complicated emotional situations.
Health: The presence of negative stars like “Tai Sui,” “Jian Feng,” and “Fu Chen” suggest potential health issues or injuries from sharp objects, traffic accidents, or surgeries. It’s advisable to donate blood or get dental check-ups early in the year. Pay attention to liver health and undergo regular check-ups. This year, Snakes may find it easy to become negative or emotionally affected, so maintaining a balanced mindset and seeking support when needed is crucial.
Career: Job development will see progress and elevation, though salary increases may not be significant. Be cautious when signing contracts.
Love: Single Snakes may meet a potential partner but should be patient to avoid appearing too eager. Married Snakes should stay sensible and avoid putting themselves in difficult situations. Female Snakes may experience a year full of romance and easily meet an attractive partner. Both sexes should be wary of complex relationship triangles and strive to remain level-headed and logical.
Horse:
With the auspicious stars “Tai Yang,” “Academy,” “Tian Kong,” and “Tian Chu” bringing positive energy, Horses can expect a favourable year. “Tai Yang” signifies beneficial support from male superiors, bosses, clients, or partners, and also represents vitality and energy, indicating smooth career expansion. The “Academy” star is favourable for exams, promotions, interviews, and stimulates creativity, especially for those in artistic and creative fields.
Career: Expect expansion and flourishing opportunities, especially through networking with influential figures.
Fortune: Financial stability is expected, but be cautious of impulsive spending. Control your daily budget and expenses effectively. A vibrant social life can lead to new connections, but be careful not to let distractions affect your commitments. Financial surprises may occur, but spending could also increase, so controlling expenses is advisable. Avoid high-risk or short-term speculative investments.
Health: Maintain a balanced diet and regular exercise. Be attentive to mental well-being. Health is generally good, but frequent social engagements may lead to gastrointestinal issues. Take care with your diet to prevent allergies or digestive problems.
Love: With stars like “Xian Chi,” “Romance,” and “Huiqi” in place, female Horses will have a vibrant emotional life, making it easy to meet desirable partners. However, “Xian Chi” is not a true love star, so it’s wise to observe relationships calmly, especially for married women who may find themselves in unrealistic love triangles. This year, there will be many social engagements, often in places associated with indulgence, so moderation is necessary to maintain daily routines and relationships with partners. The “Hui Qi” star may lead to disagreements with partners, and interpersonal conflicts may arise. Maintaining a calm and peaceful demeanour will help avoid issues with ill-intentioned individuals.
Goat:
There are no auspicious stars in place, so Goats may find this year to be relatively stable, though without significant breakthroughs. Maintain a calm demeanour and approach tasks with patience. Avoid being overly ambitious; focus instead on consolidating what you have.
Career: Don’t be too aggressive; aim for stability. A peaceful mind will help you to face reality. When performing any assignment or job, Goats must carry it out themselves to avoid unnecessary problems.
Fortune: Keep a close eye on expenditures and avoid high-risk investments. This year is more about maintaining stability rather than seeking quick profits.
Health: No major health issues are expected. There might be some minor problems, such as insomnia, fatigue, and emotional fluctuations, so prioritise self-care and seek medical attention when needed.
Love: Romance may feel like a roller coaster, with ups and downs. There will be chances for Goats who must actively approach and take care of their partners. Those in love may encounter disputes influenced by outsiders. Couples will face some small quarrels, but these can be settled through mutual communication. When staying with family, harmony and peace are the most precious things. Gathering with friends may also lead to arguments, and friendships will face challenges.
Monkey:
Monkeys will experience a year filled with complexities. Snake and Monkey people are in harmony with “Tai Sui,” which generally brings balance. However, while opportunities exist, there are also potential challenges. Monkeys should rely on their intelligence and adaptability to navigate obstacles.
Career: There are two auspicious stars, “Tai Yi” and “Tai Yin,” in place. These stars are good allies and can turn negatives into positives. “Tai Yin” is especially beneficial for female Monkeys, providing strong support from female or elderly female superiors.
Fortune: Due to uncertain factors, it is easy to gain money and easy to lose it. Monkeys need to be cautious with investments and avoid short-term ventures. Plan well for all expenditures to reduce unnecessary losses.
Health: Be careful of respiratory diseases, wheezing, rhinitis, and eye diseases. Avoid high-risk activities. Remain vigilant about stress and manage it effectively.
Love: Monkeys in love may consider marriage. Communication is vital to prevent misunderstandings. Maintain a harmonious emotion and be considerate of others.
Rooster:
This year is promising for Roosters, with a harmonious combination with “Tai Sui.” Your fate is brilliant and smooth. Guided by “San Tai,” “Di Jie,” and “Jiang Xing,” Roosters’ personal power can be elevated. “San Tai” assists in exams, licenses, elections, or contests, providing special advantages. Civil or military officers will find their strategies superior. “Di Jie” can turn negative energy into positive. “Wu Gui” may bring court affairs and disputes, leading to emotional stress.
Career: With auspicious stars like “San Tai,” “Di Jie,” and “Jiang Xing” shining your path, career prospects look bright with potential for promotions and recognition for hard work.
Fortune: With “Wu Gui” and “Guan Fu” in place, expect some fluctuations. Be cautious with overspending. Beware of losing money and being deceived. Aim for a balanced budget to manage unexpected expenses.
Health: Watch out for gastroenteritis, muscle strain, and insomnia. Maintain a balanced lifestyle to keep ailments at bay and avoid excessive alcohol.
Love: Social engagements will flourish, leading to new connections. Stay grounded and avoid arrogance, as humility can help maintain harmony.
Dog:
Auspicious stars “Yue De,” “Hong Luen,” and “Tang Fu” shine on Dogs, indicating positive developments. Your efforts may be recognised, and opportunities for growth will arise. “Yue De” symbolises support from female seniors or bosses. “Tang Fu” elevates your goodwill and power, especially benefiting disciplined staff, military officers, and law enforcement.
Career: With assistance from auspicious stars, your career and reputation will rise smoothly. You will be recognised by seniors, bosses, and customers.
Fortune: When “Yue De” is in place, “Siu Hao” follows, a negative star indicating potential financial losses and excessive expenditure. Plan your budget well and manage finances carefully.
Health: Be mindful of your daily diet and the possibility of gastroenteritis. “Ban An” suggests a risk of traffic accidents and work injuries. Avoid visiting patients and cemeteries.
Love: With stars like “Yue De” and “Hong Luen,” you may experience an enhanced social life. Balance is crucial. Nurture existing relationships. Health remains stable, but be mindful of stress and prioritise self-care.
Pig:
Pigs will be ‘clashing the Tai Sui,’ making this a year of changes. You may change jobs, move homes, renovate, or migrate. You can turn these changes into positive ones by getting married, having children, or purchasing a home. Travelling this year is also recommended. The effect can be lessened by asking for pardon from the “Tai Sui” “Wu Zhu” and making offerings of fruits, tea, vegetarian dishes, and incense.
Career: With “Kwok Yin” and “Yi Ma” in place, Pigs will be very busy at work, experiencing long working hours. Balance this with adequate rest both physically and mentally. There may be some obstructions, so you need to constantly encourage yourself and overcome any barriers. The star “Kwok Yin” represents power and authority, indicating potential promotions, job changes, and salary increments.
Fortune: With “Sui Po,” “Lan Gan,” and “Ta Hao” in place, Pigs need to manage finances carefully, as there are signs of potential losses. Be cautious with risky and short-term investments, and avoid gambling. Financial stability can be improved by staying active, but high-risk investments are not advisable.
Health: “Ta Hao” can increase job load, so take care of your health as there may be recurring illnesses throughout the year. Also, beware of traffic and other accidents. Maintain awareness of your well-being, as minor issues may arise.
Love: Unmarried Pigs have opportunities to meet their partners, possibly during travel or business trips. Married Pigs may face hidden tensions due to heavy workloads and neglecting their partners. Short trips with your partner can help strengthen your relationship. Be patient and control your emotions to maintain a good relationship.
Rat:
With the superior auspicious stars “Zi Wei,” “Long De,” and “Yu Tang” shining, Rat people will have a smooth path ahead. These stars indicate a prosperous year, especially for those in creative and business ventures.
Fortune: While Rats’ finances will increase, there are also signs of potential losses. Caution is advised in investments, and high-risk ventures should be avoided. Due to “Bao Bai,” avoid being a guarantor. Stay grounded and vigilant to avoid negatives.
Health: “Tian He” suggests minor travel accidents, but auspicious help will soften negative events. Check all travel documents carefully before trips and avoid high-risk activities.
Love: Relationship dynamics may require attention. Open communication with your partner can ease tensions. Rats will have abundant social interactions with the opposite sex, so self-control is essential. Unmarried Rats have the chance to meet partners, while married Rats will enjoy harmony with their partners.
Ox:
With the support from Tai Sui and combinations with Snake and Rooster, Oxen’s career development will be great, attracting new customers and partners. The star “Huai Gai” enhances artistic talent, creativity, and inspiration, turning negatives into positives.
Career: There will be many opportunities for job development and attracting new customers. Oxen will be easily recognized and admired.
Fortune: Opportunistic investments are not suggested. Establish a solid budget to manage expenses carefully and reserve money for unexpected expenditures.
Health: Negative stars like “Yang Ren,” “Bai Hu,” “Tian Ku,” and “Huang Fan” may affect emotions and cause injuries from sharp objects, accidents, or work-related incidents. It is suggested to maintain teeth hygiene or donate blood after February 3, 2025.
Love: Control your temper and maintain mutual respect with your partner. Avoid bringing negative emotions home and ensure good communication. Turn ruthlessness into passion to strengthen your relationship.
Tiger:
The auspicious stars “Tian De,” “Fu Xing,” and “Ba Zuo” indicate a prosperous and happy year for Tigers. Assistance from good allies will support Tigers in achieving higher levels and elevating their social status. However, being opposite to Tai Sui, there will be obstacles and possible conflicts with seniors or bosses. Beware of arrogance and impetuosity; patience is key. It is also suggested that Tigers avoid visiting patients in hospitals or attending funerals.
Career: You may find assistance from influential figures, helping to elevate your career. Opportunities for growth in both professional and personal realms are plentiful.
Fortune: Financial stability is likely. Investment in blue-chip stocks can bring some fortune, but avoid gambling in the stock market to prevent losses.
Health: With “Juan She,” “Jiao Sha,” and “Liu Hai” in place, public relationships and health may be affected. Disputes, arguments, and tense situations are inevitable. Tigers may experience epidemic diseases, dermatitis, digestive problems, and gastroenteritis.
Love: Expect fluctuations and disagreements with family members and partners.
Rabbit:
Rabbits can expect opportunities for advancement, as the auspicious star “Lu Xun” shines on their fate. This star can elevate Rabbits’ reputation, job development, and target achievement. Working-class Rabbits can expect promotions and salary increments. However, they need to work hard for their achievements. “Mo Yue” indicates facing new challenges, pressure, and environments independently.
Career: Working-class Rabbits will be recognised by seniors or bosses and supported by subordinates. Changing jobs or careers is suitable this year. However, Rabbits need to work diligently to reach their goals.
